I want to start a place where I can develop content online to experiment in how well I can do it and gain experience in not only self-publishing but also expand my current body of work into something that is overall more polished and coherent. I understand this may not seem that interesting to a wide audience and that is why I have chosen to no post this on my main site but start a side project where I can focus on other things while maintaining a site that can act as a landing page for a wider audience. Some things I hope to accomplish here are: longer forms of writing, practice essay writing, blogging, and short stories. In order to do that I need to write more, keep it campy, try different and new things, explore not just in writing but in myself, and I want to try to do this in an environment that is open to the world. The end result, while not set in stone, is to improve myself overall and learn more about the process and how to be successful and how to fail miserably. I hope I can develop what I write here into something that can be spun off into yet another site as a possibly weekly or monthly serialize piece of fiction, similar to days of yore where stories came in the form of cheesy sci-fi or detective magazines but do it online with (hopefully) input from the online community that can be utilized to develop the story.

The important thing to remember is that this space is a sandbox for me to develop in and should not be considered a final product but part of the experiment to make this whole thing work. We shall see.
